The Sankofa Theatre Fest is a two week festival with a mixture of one-acts and one main full-play production from local and primarily African American playwrights.

This year's featured production, "Welcome To the Lilly", from the Green Book Chronicles Series is happening August 21-24, 2019.  The play, Welcome To the Lilly", written by Karen D. After the Saturday, Aug. 24 matinee, there is a talk-back with the playwright and cast.

The 2nd week The Night of 10s is back. This year playwrights are asked to write a dramatic or comedic ten-minute play that includes one of the three photos(shown to the right.)  Playwright submissions start July 1 through August 15th.
