**Calling All Actors!**

We are excited to announce auditions for a powerful and moving new play,

**"There's A Man Goin' Round Takin' Names."**

This innovative theatrical work revolves around the traditional spiritual, weaving together pivotal moments and voices from the Black freedom struggle. The play moves through time—from the distant past to the recent past to the present—as a series of speakers step forward to reveal their part of our history.

**About the Play:**

This is not a traditional narrative. Characters engage in direct conversation with the audience and with a dynamic, emotionally invested Chorus. The Chorus serves as an announcer, a participant, and a voice from the tradition of the Black Church—often opinionated and always engaged. The play is a profound exploration of resistance, faith, and the enduring fight for justice.

**🔹 ENSEMBLE / CHORUS ROLES 🔹**

We are seeking a strong, versatile ensemble to form the **CHORUS**. This is a featured, multi-functional role that requires a strong vocal and emotional presence.
